About Herbalism
Providing oxygen for our every breath, the symbiotic relationship between plants and humans is both vital and beautiful.
Â
Beyond the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide, vegetation in the form of fruits, vegetables and herbs offers nourishment and vitality.
My Story
I graduated from the Georgetown University School of Nursing in 1993, and entered the US Army as a nurse. I served four years at Brooke Army Medical Center surgical and burn unit in San Antonio, Texas. I was privileged to serve on the Burn Flight Team for 10 months before becoming pregnant with our first daughter.

For the next 22 years, I was privileged to serve my family and my community as a wife and mom, volunteer, prayer and Bible study leader and friend.
In 2006 I had a health crisis that, after months of seeking help from conventional medical sources, did not get better. In time, I began to research herbal remedies. With the help of a naturopath, counselors and a tremendous amount of self education, I began to recover. The efficacy of herbal remedies was undeniable! I enrolled in the school of Christian herbalism and over the course of a year became certified. Shortly afterward, my obsession with tea drinking, translated into creating 11 herbal tea blends which taste wonderful and bring energy, nutrients and vitality to the body.
Over the last few years, my family and I have been strengthened and supported by herbal remedies and we have greatly benefited from the gifts that plants freely share.
